The island of http://www.el-foco.eu has grown to be increasingly popular over recent years with a major increase in tourism.

A favorite winter holiday destination in addition to summer, with temperatures reaching up to thirty-two in the summer and mid 20s in winter months, people from all around the world are discovering the island.

Neighbouring islands of Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote have always been a popular choice, even so with the recent growth and development of Fuerteventura with a water park now in the North and several shopping centres in other resorts, Fuerteventura is now as popular as the other islands.

Boasting over one humdred and fifty beaches, wetter fuerteventura is a must for beach lovers. The annual wind surfing competitions are located in the South and what ever form of water sports you are into can be located in either Corralejo, Costa Caleta and Morro Jable.

Families and couples love traveling to Fuerteventura and the holiday resort of Caleta de Fuste was built with children in mind. The man made beach is a safe place for children to spend time playing while adults take it easy on the beach and there are many activities like trampolines, archery, tennis, mini golf, play parks and a sand school to help keep them amused.

In the North, Corralejo boasts a new water park and amusement park and again a good amount of children’s parks and activities.

In both resorts restaurants serving food from around the world is available, however a drive inland will provide some of the best restaurants on the island serving traditional Canarian cuisine at very low prices.

The streets of Fuerteventura are relatively quiet, and the resident goats can be found wandering the wasteland and inland roads so drive carefully!

Bragging beautiful scenery, Fuerteventura makes a great holiday destination and although not as developed as the other islands, makes a fantastic holiday destination for both couples and families.
