As everyone who has ever been to even just a year of university knows, spring break is one of the most important times of the year for any self respecting student. Typically stuck right after midterms and a while before final exams, at least at schools that are on the semester system, spring break is a great time for students to cut loose and enjoy themselves one last time before studying for finals starts in earnest. One of the most popular things for students to do on spring break is to find a group of friends, pack their private label luggage with a telescoping handle system and find a nice beach or other destination to enjoy a week of partying. In the upcoming paragraphs there is a brief rundown of some of the best and most popular places for people to go on spring break and what makes them each unique and fun.
Starting off here in America, there are lots of sought after spring break towns located in the state of Florida. Some of the more popular of these towns in Florida are Panama City, Daytona Beach, and a few others. Those spots are typically for people who have no problem partying all day and all night, and those who don’t plan on getting much sleep because there will almost always definitely be a group of people on the beach willing to party. Florida is famous for having some of the prettiest beaches in the country, so for those looking for crystal clear water and gorgeous sand this may be one of the best spots. Also, as mentioned before, Florida is one of the most popular destinations for spring break so anyone who goes there should also be more than willing to meet and interact with new people as they come along.
Moving abroad, the top spring break spot of all is probably Cancun in Mexico. Cancun is known for having a plethora of great resorts and anyone who goes there is more than likely to be very pleased with their accommodations. Also, as it is a very popular spot, as with many of the Florida towns, there is a great opportunity to meet and hang out with other college students who are also on spring break. However, one of the drawbacks to going to Cancun is that many people recently have become concerned with the safety of going to Mexico with all the kidnappings and violence that has been in the news regarding America’s southern neighbors recently.
Lastly, although possibly a more pricey choice than the other two, in terms of decadent, hedonistic joy there is no topping Ibiza, Spain as a spring break destination. Known by many as the clubbing capital of the world, and a hotspot for a young and trendy Euro crowd, Ibiza is an island off the coast of Spain that is the venue for some of the wildest clubs and bars in the world. Regularly frequented by some of the top DJs in the world, Ibiza clubs regularly have different theme parties including one called a foam party where foam is sprayed all over customers on the dance floor. The only issue with Ibiza for some students is that while hotels are cheap and affordable, for those who want to go to clubs the price of entrance will be at least 25 Euros.
Spring break trips have been somewhat of a rite of passage for college kids for a long time now and hopefully remain that way for a long time to come.
