All thanks to the speed and convenience of modern day conveyance, traveling has become a frequent intervention of our lives. Some people travel for professional purposes, some travel for leisure and some for discoveries. No matter how far or how frequently one travels, packing a luggage is always a hard task. Different people have their preferences, some like traveling without much while some want to travel along with all their wordly belongings. In any case, one thing everyone wishes is to travel easily. Luggage is one thing that can actually turn your tour into a real pain or pleasure. Today, luggage designers have come up with many new ideas to ensure that what you carry is not a pain. Carts such as folding cart andwheeled cart, make it easier to travel even with a luggage slightly heavier than you can carry.

Despite the best of carriers and baggage, you are always prone to some kind of luggage problem unless you know how to pack smartly. Here are different ideas that can help you travel lightly.

The very basic rule applies equally for frequent and occasional travelers. The rules and restrictions of flights are always varying. So, make sure you are aware if there is any new law regarding stuff you can and cannot take along. Watching your things being thrown into the airport bin is the most painful experience of all. In previous years, some of the seemingly most harmless items were prohibited to be carried along. These items include liquid soaps and general use batteries etc

Second thing, don’t try to travel with all the things you can stuff in your suit cases. If you are on a business travel, you won’t need many clothes as you probably won’t stay for much time. If you are on a vacation, try saving some space for all the things you might buy during the stay.

The best tip is to take clothes that you can easily mix and match. For instance, you can wear one pair of pants with two different top at two different places, so why bother taking two jeans?

The maximum number of pairs of footwear you can carry is two, one casual and one formal. To be a little lenient, the one you have on won’t be counted as a luggage.

Even after sorting out the least amount of clothes to pack, try to roughly weight each clothes. Now seprate the ones that are heaviest, and keep them as the ones you’ll wear to the airport.

Finally, it is the way you pack things. Don’t just stuff things up in your poor suitcase, it will make them all creased and the space would not be properly utilized. Place the shoes on the bottom of the luggage then stuff the socks, undergarments and other small things inside the shoes. Fold the clothes and then roll them; rolled clothes require less space than folded ones.

One serious point to remember: There are many things such as toiletries and other things that the airplane, hotel and even the airport will provide you. It is wise to leave such things at home. For rest of the things, go for small travel sized products.
