Where in the world is Lanzarote? For those who haven’t visited this holiday paradise before, just find a map, identify the west coast of Africa and the Canary Islands are located just there, off the coast of Morocco in the Atlantic Ocean. As smaller island´s go, Lanzarote has a higher than average number of tourist attractions, with several dedicated to portraying the history and culture of local residents. But Lanzarote is also an remarkably popular location for sports enthusiasts, as there are a number of activities available to tourists, from surfing to golf. So even travellers who are not driven to seek the sun will find there is plenty to do on Lanzarote.
